While Wright's not a household name within the industry, she's cherished by her fans and those who know music. She also tours with Jay Z and other A list artist

8). Jazzyfatnastees. Originally from Los Angeles, the Jazzyfatnastees (Tracy Moore and Mercedes Martinez) caught their big break opening shows for Philly's own The Roots. Their '99 debut, The Once and Future, may be the best R&B Soul album you've never heard.

9). Jazmine Sullivan. The amazing 22-year-old songwriter has penned R&B hits for Fantasia, Christina Milian and Jennifer Hudson. On her 2008 debut CD, Fearless, she brought us the unforgettable tracks "Need U Bad," "Bust Your Windows," and "Lions, Tigers and Bears." She is the now future of philadelphia.

10). Kindred The Family Soul. With such comforting, inspiring songs like ''Far away  from here'' "Where Would I Be?" and "House of Love," Fatin Dantzler and Aja Graydon give real meaning to love in their music.
